Healthy Eating Today for Healthy Living Tomorrow / About ETTLT
First off, welcome. My name is Tim and I like food… yeah, who doesn’t? I like learning about food and knowing what it is that I am putting in my body. So this blog is about knowing, learning, and everything that goes with it. It just so happens that through this blog and her blog I met my wife, Shannalee, from Food Loves Writing. Now we work on both sites together!

A Little About The Name and How It Relates to Healthy Eating
To give you a little more insight about myself and the blog I will share about the title: Eat Today To Live Tomorrow. I decided to use this title because I believe it is the proper way to “approach” food. Many people and food lovers ‘Live to Eat’. I personally believe it is much better to ‘Eat to Live’.
What we eat greatly affects how our bodies function and the level of health we maintain as well as the health we will have in the future. Having said that I think it is important as a Christian to say that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” While it is great to enjoy food and drink and healthy eating, as well as important to be careful what we put in our bodies in order for health, when it is all said and done it is God who decides if we live tomorrow.
I realize many of this site’s readers may not agree or care about ‘Eating to Live’ and yet we may have a lot of common ideas about food or enjoy the same things. I would invite you to share your thoughts and comments about food as well. Feel free to comment on any of the blogs or contact me with any questions or comments.
